About the Role:

At Scentbird and its four private owned brands: GoodHabit, Deck of Scarlet, Confessions of a Rebel and Sanctuary, we are focused on building meaningful and elevated beauty brands; delivering engaging content stories and building a diverse and inclusive digital community across our social channels. We work across the company in sourcing both internal and external stories that can inspire, engage and educate our audience on our brand values, product launches and sharing new perspectives from our community.

Scentbird is seeking a Digital Designer with solid design capabilities and understanding of digital channels to help bring the brand to life visually on all brands. This role will work collaboratively and cross-functionally to design on-brand, high performing assets and collateral, as well as project manage the process from brief through to execution. The candidate must have the ability to create high volume of assets across all channels and mediums including but not limited to: social and digital ads (with motion graphics & typography), email campaigns, web assets / PDPs, adapting designs for best performance by channel while reacting to trends and helping to continually evolve and elevate the brand aesthetics on all brands. The role draws heavily on strong typography, concept development, and fastidious attention to detail. The Digital Designer reports into the Campaign Art Director, and is based out of NYC (currently working remotely).

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Design & develop marketing collateral, such as paid social ads, organic social posts, maintaining landing pages through site updates, and emails.
  • Ideate and collaborate on social-first ideas that deliver on social marketing briefs with the Art Director.
  • Support producing social shoots
  • Organizes and edits assets of production; and archives video and photography projects for future use.
  • Assist with post-production selects, retouching/editing notes and all else involved to bring art direction to life.
  • Work cross functionally with growth and brand marketing teams
  • Leverage data-driven insights to inform new tests in engaging our audiences
  • Stays relevant creatively & technologically by patterning and researching current design/industry trends
  • Attend & create deliverables for key process meetings and reviews
  • Support other projects as needed

What You’ll Need to Have:

  • At least 3-4 years of professional experience in a creative environment in a graphic design and digital asset development role - Beauty or a CPG brand, a strong plus.
  • Must have a portfolio demonstrating relevant experience
  • Knowledge of social and digital content platform current best practices, technologies and creative standards
  • Discerning eye for photo editing, cropping & composition
  • Understands the taste level and/or visual lexicon in prestige beauty/luxury
  • Experience with relevant tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects
  • Experience managing both photo and video production is preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, under tight deadlines, with strong project and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, strong organizational and team work skills
  • Comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Passion for beauty, aesthetics and bringing a brand's vision to life
