Digital Merchandising and Marketing Manager

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Managing the overall brand/vendor relationships along with the SVP, Director and Assistant Manager of Business Development & Merchandising.
  • Oversee preparation and creation of brand partner performance reports on a quarterly/monthly basis including sample tracking and subscriber research information. Present reporting to brand partners.
  • Present the onboarding process for all new brands to our brand partners and help to ensure proper bulk is ordered and brand assets are received in a timely manner to coordinate with new launch timelines.
  • Partner with SVP, Director, Operations and Marketing to launch, promote and create marketing plans to build awareness for our brand partners.
  • Support activation of brand strategy, including development of promotional and marketing plans.
  • Partner with Marketing to ideate and deploy campaigns, managing the projects and timelines from start to finish.
  • Insure that brand information on social media tools is properly reflected, directing approval of copy and visual posts
  • Coordinate blog posts with our blogger along with the coordination of brand approval.
  • Assist with analyzing the current assortment based upon sell-through and productivity/profitability (margin) and ensure proper and consistent inventory levels while working with operations and brand partners.
  • Assist with reviewing data/analytics to determine brand placement on the website and other marketing collateral.
  • Make sure the website is up to Scentbird and industry standards with brand assets, content and overall merchandising of the site.
  • Oversee placement and organization of brand creative assets in Scentbird library.

What You’ll Need to Have:

  • BS/BA in Business, Merchandising or Marketing preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing within the cosmetics industry (preferably with fragrance)
  • High level understanding of fragrance brands and subscription boxes
  • Proficient with powerpoint/keynote, excel, google docs and relational databases/software (ie: ERP)
  • Familiarity with Jira, Iterable, Typeform and Looker a plus
