About the Role:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for engaging new and existing customers through strategic marketing campaigns to help increase brand awareness, new subscriptions and build loyalty to our brand. Scentbird is seeking a marketer who is passionate about beauty and fragrance, a creative innovator at heart, and can envision, build, and execute marketing strategies and plans across all of our channels to build the brand, increase recognition, and drive sales. The successful candidate should have direct, hands-on experience conceptualizing, implementing and scaling successful marketing campaigns for an online retail or e-commerce business.
This position will report to the VP, Marketing & Owned Brands
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Spearhead all brand marketing campaigns from concept creation through development in conjunction with marketing cross-functional teams including PR, creative, performance marketing, social and CRM
Partner with VP of Marketing to ideate & execute integrated marketing strategies to drive new customer acquisition, long-term loyalty, brand awareness & revenue
Maintain open communication with internal and external partners to ensure the clear planning and execution of all marketing needs
Develop campaign briefs and partner with creative & influencer teams to develop content that is on brand, meets messaging objectives, and delivers impact
Identify strategic partnerships that build cultural relevance, introduce the brand to new audiences and support business priorities
Assist with contract negotiations and establishing business, partnership, and financial terms, partnering with VP of Marketing and working closely with Legal & Finance to fully execute Agreements
Manage budget tracking and reporting of business results with a keen eye for analytics and data

Preferred experience in Brand, Marketing, or Partnership strategy and activation
Proven ability to handle time-sensitive projects and prioritize multiple objectives simultaneously, to work independently, and to drive projects to completion with minimum guidance and acute attention to detail
Proven track record of excellence in fast-moving marketing division/company
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, creative, out of the box thinker and an ability to maximize a limited budget
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational/Project Management skills required
Strong computer/technical skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
High comfort level with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a must
