About the Role:

We are seeking an ideas-driven Content Creator that will be responsible for curating and developing content across our social channels. This role will have the unique opportunity to define the next phase of social in strengthening the voice and personality of our brand across platforms. This position requires a strong creative intuition and a proactive approach when it comes to engaging communities across social.

As part of daily responsibilities, you will create new content, manage the voice of the accounts, react and adapt to new channel best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will keep a close eye on the pulse on social, from conversations to creative trends, and you will be responsible for developing content quickly to meet the moment.

The Content Creator will report into the Campaign Art Director, and is based out of NYC (currently working remotely due to Covid-19).

Your Day-To-Day:

  • Create, curate, and manage content published across social channels for multiple brands.
  • Must be active on all social media platforms and have a strong understanding of the social experience and user interface of all major social platforms including Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, Tumblr, Pinterest, and understand other regionally relevant/specific platforms.
  • Develop original real-time content for multiple brands
  • Ideate and collaborate on social-first ideas that deliver on social marketing briefs with the Art Director.
  • Support producing social shoots and some campaign shoots, which includes:
  1. Pre-production: Works with Art Director to create storyboards, scouts and reserves locations, and develops production plans including casting.
  2. Production: Work with stylists, and models to capture photos, video and e-commerce media. Create editorial stills, video and graphics to support rich storytelling for our brands.
  3. Post-production: Organizes and edits all assets of production into a compelling story and in transactional cases such as e-commerce. Archives video and photography projects for future use.
  • Work cross functionally with growth and brand marketing teams
  • Leverage data-driven insights to inform new tests in engaging our audiences
  • Act as a gatekeeper for the brands
  • Support other content projects as needed

Who you are:

  • 2+ years managing first-in-class social brands
  • Creator background in developing social content for a brand, agency or publisher
  • Archives video and photography projects for future use.
  • Basic video/photography editing skills
  • Experience in a fast-moving environment, with a sharp POV on the social space
  • Experience working directly with talent and influencers to collaborate on campaigns
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting under tight deadlines.
